Transportation Policy
To schedule a transport, please call 412-487-0162 at least 24 hours in advance
Please provide as much advance notice as possible to insure your desired time slot is available
If Shaler EMS is unable to perform your transport because of a scheduling conflict, we will schedule your trip with another North Hills community based ambulance service
Other ambulance services may not honor your subscription for non-emergency transports
All non-emergency transportation must begin or end in a medical facility
Shaler EMS no longer provides wheelchair van and invalid coach transportation. Patients who call our non-emergency transport number will have their transport performed by a third party. This third party may not honor your subscription to Shaler EMS.
